My father has recently retired and, at first, he was really despondent about his life. He has always been a really active person and, I suppose, for someone like him who has always been busy, it must be really difficult to adjust to being retired where he has nothing to get up for each day. However, he has recently acquired a job doing Ground Maintenance and we are all absolutely delighted for him.
